What we collect and why

When you contact us or submit a brief, we receive your contact details, project information and any files you include in the brief. We use these to review your request and communicate with you.

When shopping opens, we will receive contact and delivery details, products and selected options, order amounts and payment results from Stripe. We use these to manage orders, payments, stock, shipping, customer service and returns. Stripe handles payment details; our application does not store full card numbers or security codes.

Shopping and mailing-list sign-ups are currently closed.

Who processes your information

We use ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare for hosting and security, Stripe for payments, Resend and Gmail for email, and Google Fonts/cdnjs for website assets. When shipping opens, Pirate Ship and carriers will receive delivery and package information. Providers have their own privacy practices and may process information outside your location.

We retain correspondence and email delivery records to support communications and prevent duplicate or blocked messages. Resend’s open and click tracking is off.

Cookies and browser storage

Visiting our sites shares technical information, such as your IP address, browser and requested pages, with hosting and asset providers. This helps run the sites and prevent abuse.

Our hosting platform sets a 90-day analytics cookie to understand site usage. Cloudflare sets a bot-protection cookie that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. When enabled, Turnstile uses browser and network signals to protect checkout and improve Cloudflare’s bot detection.

Your browser also stores cart/checkout information, preferences and optional saved brief answers. Some cart and checkout records have no automatic expiry. Saved briefs are checked for a 14-day expiry when reopened.

You can block or remove cookies and site data through your browser. This may affect features and does not delete information already held by us or our providers.

How long we keep information

The owner handles information within the business and will review retained records monthly. Messages, attachments, orders and email records are not automatically deleted. Reviews consider ongoing services, orders, disputes, legal recordkeeping and safeguards against duplicate or blocked emails.

Provider copies, backups and delivered messages may remain after information is removed from our active systems.

Email nabil@houseofnawel.com to ask about your information or request access, correction or deletion. Additional rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. We may need to verify your identity and will explain any limits on fulfilling your request. Please do not send full payment-card details.
